adbone BCP

adbone BCP

adbone ® BCP is a porous synthetic ceramic, containing two types of calcium phosphate (75% of hydroxiapatite and 25% of Beta-Tricalcium phosphate) designed for the filling of bone voids or defects, and is available in several geometries (granules, blocks, cylinders and wedges).

The chemical composition of adbone ® BCP is similar to the mineral phase of the human bone. Due to its macroporosity and porous interconnectivity, adbone ® BCP allows an excellent osteointegration and a total vascularization of the implant with an excellent mechanical resistance.

  • Induces regeneration and bone grows by stimulating the proliferation and differentiation of osteoblasts, allowing a total replacement by new vital bone during the healing process, within 6-24 months.
  • Is radiopaque, allowing the perfect monitorization of osteointegration.
  • Has an easy handling.
  • Due to his high hydrophilic profile the particles present high cohesivity, conserving the volume of the initial cavity.

Indications

Adbone®BCP is intendend to be used as a bone void filler or augmentation material for bone defects that are not intrinsic to the stability of the bony structure

  • Sinus floor elevation
  • Alveolar filling or augmentation
  • Alveolar regeneration
  • Reconstruction of tumor voids and cysts defects
  • Filling of extraction cavities
